Note, the prior interest restriction rules continue to apply for companies that are not part of a group and in respect of interest expense with related parties outside of a group.
An extension of the VAT exemption for electronic newspapers to e-books and e-magazines from 1 July 2019 was also proposed but will be implemented later as part of the revised budget for 2019. Norway's revised budgets are generally issued and approved towards the middle of the year.
