The Argentina Senate Foreign Relations and Budget and Finance Committees approved the pending income tax treaty with Turkey in a joint meeting on 24 November 2021. The treaty, signed 1 December 2018, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
