A release from the Dutch Ministry of Finance has been published regarding the tax treaty negotiation plans for 2022. This includes that the Netherlands intends to continue talks with:
- Belgium;
- Brazil;
- Kyrgyzstan;
- Morocco;
- Moldova;
- Mozambique;
- Uganda;
- Portugal;
- Russia;
- Sri Lanka; and
- United Arab Emirates.
The Netherlands also intends to start (re)negotiations with:
- Bahrain;
- Barbados;
- Rwanda; and
- Suriname.
Further, within the Kingdom, the Netherlands is committed to starting talks for the adjustment of the tax scheme with Sint Maarten.
