The Saudi Zakat, Customs and Tax Authority on 27 March announced the launch of the third stage of the e-invoicing program.  This stage concerns enterprises whose turnover subject to VAT exceeded SAR 250 million in 2022 or 2021. The stage consists of connecting the taxpayers’ e-invoicing infrastructure to the Zakat, Customs and Tax Authority’s FATOORA portal, and is to be finalized by 1 October 2023.
