According to a release from Ukraine's Ministry of Finance, the Ukraine Parliament approved the ratification of the pending protocol to the 1996 income and capital tax treaty with Turkey on 18 September 2019. The protocol, signed 9 October 2017 ({News-2018-07-25/T/4-previous coverage}), is the first to amend the treaty and will enter into force on the last day of the month following the month the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
