The tax year is the calendar year in Greenland. However, a different 12-month period is allowed provided that the period begins on the first day of a calendar month.
Taxpayers are required to file tax returns within 4 months following the end of the tax year, i.e. 1 May for companies using the calendar year as the tax year. However, the due date to file tax returns electronically is 15 June.
The corporate tax is due for payment by 20 November of the following year.
Tax returns can be filed electronically through web portal http://aka.gl/kl-GL.
