Prof. dr. Algirdas Miskinis
Prof. dr. Algirdas Miskinis graduated from Vilnius University, Law Faculty in 1981. In 1986 he was awarded a Doctor`s degree in law. Prof. dr. Algirdas Miskinis has studied in Vaxjo University in Sweden, has improved his qualifications at the National Bank of Austria and Torun Banking School. He is a member of the Lithuanian Bar Association since 1995.
Prof. dr. Algirdas Miskinis is the head of the Finance and Tax Department of the Faculty of Economics and Finance Management in Mykolas Romeris University, and a member of the group for the international project "East European Program on Finance and Tax Law Research" (coordination center is at Bialystok University, Poland), Arbitrator of International Byelorussia Commercial Arbitration, as well as a member of the editing board of the publication „Intelektualioji ekonomika” (,,Intellectual economy“).

Karolina Jogminaite
Karolina Jogminaite is an independent tax advisor in Lithuania with specialization in indirect taxes. Before creating her own tax consulting practice KJA Consultancy, Karolina has worked as a tax advisor for Deloitte Lietuva and as a Head of the Indirect Tax Unitat the State Tax Inspectorate under the Ministry of Finance of Lithuania.
Karolina is an expert in indirect taxation (particularly VAT) at a local and EU level. During her practice she was involved in a significant number of complex tax projects and has worked not only with the largest Lithuanian companies from such sectors as oil and gas, energy, telecommunications, banking and finance, real estate etc., but also with multinational companies operating in Lithuania. During her career withe ,th Lithuanian tax administration Karolina also gained experience in drafting and implementing local and EU tax legislation, and a few legislation amendments that were initiated by Karolina were approved by Lithuanian Parliament.
