On 4 April 2018, the OECD announced that the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes has published the enhanced exchange of information peer reviews for the Bahamas, Bulgaria, Estonia, France, Ghana, Hungary, Jamaica, Monaco, and New Zealand.
Four jurisdictions, Estonia, France, Monaco, and New Zealand, were rated Compliant; three jurisdictions, the Bahamas, Belgium, and Hungary were rated Largely Compliant; and Ghana was rated Partially Compliant. In a supplementary report, Jamaica received a Largely Compliant rating.
The announcement also notes that Montenegro has joined the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes as the 150th member. As a member of the Forum, Montenegro will now be subject to monitoring and a peer review process to ensure the implementation of and compliance with the international standards for information exchange.
