On 3 November 2022, the government of Argentina authorized the signing of an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) with the U.S. for the implementation of the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA). The agreement must be signed and ratified before entering into force, which is expected in 2023.
