The framework on advanced rulings has been gazetted as the Income Tax (Advanced Ruling) Rules 2008 on 31 January 2008. In addition, the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia has issued the Guidelines on Advanced Rulings, which generally follow the principles laid out in the above-mentioned Rules.
