The tax information exchange agreement between Belgium and St. Lucia entered into force on 20 February 2014. The agreement is the first of its kind between the two countries and is in line with OECD Standards.

The agreement applies from criminal tax matters from the date of its entry into force, and applies for other tax matters in respect of tax periods beginning on or after that date.
