The income and capital tax treaty and protocol between Mexico and Germany, signed on 9 July 2008, entered into force on 15 October 2009. The new treaty generally applies from 1 January 2010. From this date, the new treaty generally replaces the Mexico-Germany income and capital tax treaty of 23 February 1993.
