The income tax treaty and protocol between Norway and Turkey, signed on 15 January 2011, entered into force on 15 June 2011. The treaty generally applies from 1 January 2012. From this date, the new treaty generally replaces the Norway-Turkey income and capital tax treaty of 16 December 1971.
