Austria Adjusting Individual Income Tax Brackets for 2025 as Part of Relief Measures

Austria's Ministry of Finance has issued a release announcing relief measures for 2025, including an overall increase in the individual income tax bracket thresholds, except for the EUR 1 million threshold for the top 55% rate. Considering the increase, the brackets/rates will be as follows:

• up to EUR 13,308 - 0%
• EUR 13,309 to 21,617 - 20%
• EUR 21,618 to 35,836 - 30%
• EUR 35,837 to 69,166 - 40%
• EUR 69,167 to 103,072 - 48%
• EUR 103,073 to 1,000,000 - 50%
