Bill to implement various EU Directives adopted by Luxembourg parliament — Orbitax Tax News & Alerts
On 5 December 2007, the Luxembourg parliament approved Bill 5708 on:
| - | the implementation of the 2005 amendments to the Merger Directive 90/434/EEC | |
| - | the extension of the Directive and the Parent-Subsidiary Directive 2003/.123/EEC to a qualifying entity established in a state of the European Economic Area; and | |
| - | the implementation of the Directive on the accession of Bulgaria and Romania (Directive 2006/98/EC). |
The amendments apply retroactively as from 1 January 2007.
