Angola Introduces 5% Tourism Tax on International Tourists

Angola published Presidential Legislative Decree No. 4/26 on 30 April 2026, which provides for the introduction of a new Special Contributions for Tourism (a tourism tax), a mandatory fee charged to international tourists staying in classified tourist establishments or local accommodation facilities (e.g., hotels, resorts, etc.).
