Colombia and Germany Making Progress in Social Security Agreement Negotiations

According to a post from Colombia's Ministry of Labor on 6 April 2026, progress is being made in negotiations for a social security agreement with Germany. Any resulting agreement will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
