Israel to Permanently Cancel ILS 1.45 Billion Worth of Duties and Purchase Taxes on a Broad Range of Products

The Israeli government has issued a release announcing the decision of Prime Minister Netanyahu and Finance Minister Katz to permanently cancel ILS 1.45 billion worth of duties and purchase taxes on a broad range of products in order to get the economy moving in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the decision, duties and purchase taxes will be permanently canceled on the following products:

• Footwear - 12%
