Poland Temporarily Reduces VAT, Excise Duty on Motor Fuels

Poland's Ministry of Finance has announced a temporary reduction in the VAT rate on motor fuels (diesel and gasoline) from 23% to 8% with effect from 31 March 2026 to 30 April 2026. The excise duty on fuels has also been reduced to the minimum allowed in the EU, by 0.29 PLN per liter of gasoline and 0.28 PLN per liter of diesel, effective 30 March to 15 April 2026.
