Polish Council of Ministers Adopts Draft Law to Improve VAT e-Commerce Package

According to a release from Poland's Ministry of Finance, the Council of Ministers has approved a draft law amending the Value Added Tax (VAT) Act and certain other acts to optimize the functioning of the VAT e-commerce package (which took effect on 1 July 2021) and resolve interpretive ambiguities that arose during its practical application. The draft implements the first phase of the ViDA (VAT in the Digital Age) package as per Council Directive (EU) 2025/516.
