Polish Senate Considering Law to Ratify Pending Social Security Agreement with Japan

The Polish Senate (upper house of parliament) is considering the law to ratify the pending social security agreement with Japan. The law was approved by the Sejm (lower house) on 18 September 2026. The agreement, signed 15 April 2026, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force on the first day of the third month after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
