Thailand Formally Extends Reduced VAT Rate to September 2027

The Thai Revenue Department has published Decree No. 807 of 20 August 2026, which was originally published in the Official Gazette on 23 August 2026. The Decree takes effect on 1 October 2026, extending to 30 September 2027 the temporary reduced VAT rate of 6.3% (7% when including local municipal tax) for all sales of goods, provision of services, and imports.
