Deputy Chairman İsmail Özdemir of Turkey's Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) has submitted a draft bill in Turkey's Grand National Assembly (parliament) that would increase the digital services tax (DST) rate applied to foreign digital service providers operating in Turkey to 12.5%. For domestic service providers, the standard rate of 7.5% would be maintained.
