UAE Amends Federal Decree-Law on VAT

The UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) recently published Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017 on Value Added Tax as amended by Federal Decree-Law No. 18 of 2022, which was issued on 26 September 2022. Several amendments are made by Federal Decree-Law No. 18, summarized as follows:
