U.S. Treasury Welcomes Revised GloBE Information Return

The U.S. Department of the Treasury has issued a release welcoming the release of the revised GloBE Information Return (GIR). The revised GIR is part of a package for the Pillar Two Global Minimum Tax released by the OECD/G20 Inclusive Framework on BEPS on 11 September 2026. As previously reported, the revised GIR incorporates the simplifications included in the Side-by-Side package agreed by the Inclusive Framework in January 2026.
