Update - Argentina Publishes Resolution Establishing Rules for Employers on Applying Increased Allowances and Other Relief for Employees

Argentina has published General Resolution 5008/2021 of 14 June 2021, which provides implementing rules for employers for the application of Law 27617, which entered into force on 21 April 2021 and applies retroactively from 1 January 2021. As previously reported, the law provides various relief for individuals including an increase in tax allowances for employees that essentially provides an exemption from tax on monthly salary of up to ARS 150,000.
