Vietnam's National Assembly Approves New Personal Income Tax Law

Vietnam's National Assembly approved the new Personal Income Tax Law on 10 December 2025. Some notable changes include:

• A reduction from 7 tax brackets to 5, based on monthly income as follows:
  • up to VND 10 million - 5%
  • over VND 10 million to 30 million - 10%
  • over VND 30 million to 60 million - 20%
  • over VND 60 million to 100 million - 30%
