Albanian Council of Ministers Approves Pending Protocol to Tax Treaty with Germany

On 2 September 2026, the Albanian Council of Ministers approved the pending protocol to the 2010 income and capital tax treaty with Germany. The protocol, signed 9 June 2026, is the first to amend the treaty. It will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
