According to a release from the Government of Malta, officials from Malta and Morocco signed an amending protocol to the 2018 income tax treaty between the two countries on 2 January 2026. The protocol is the first to amend the treaty and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. Details of the protocol will be published once available.
