According to a release from the Andorran government, officials from Andorra and Chile met on 3 September 2021 to discuss bilateral cooperation, including the start of negotiations for the signing of an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
