According to a release from the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Madrid, officials from Andorra and the Slovak Republic met on 28 January 2026 to discuss the deepening of bilateral cooperation, including the interest of both sides in concluding an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
