Aruba has published in the Official Gazette the Regulation of 5 April 2019 (AB 2019 No. 21) and the Decree of 10 April 2019 (AB 2019 No. 22) for the implementation of economic substance requirements to align with OECD and EU standards on transparent entities. The Regulation provides new conditions for a company to be treated as transparent, including that the real economic presence conditions as set out in the Decree must be met if engaged in relevant activities.
