Australia Increases Penalty Unit from July 2026

The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has updated its Penalty units guidance page, including an increase in the penalty unit amount. For infringements that occur from 1 July 2026, the penalty unit amount is AUD 364. The previous value was AUD 330 for infringements that occurred from 7 November 2024 to 30 June 2026.
