Bahrain Council of Representatives Approves Pending Tax Treaty with Saudi Arabia

Bahrain's Council of Representatives (lower house of the National Assembly) has announced its approval of the law for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with Saudi Arabia during its first extraordinary session on 7 May 2026 (session archive). The treaty, signed 3 December 2025, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
