According to a post from the Bangladesh Ministry of Foreign Affairs, officials from Bangladesh and Kenya met to discuss bilateral relations on 14 October 2026 and agreed to expedite the conclusion of an income tax treaty. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
