Bangladesh and Kosovo Agree to Conclude Tax Treaty Negotiations

According to a release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Kosovo, officials from Bangladesh and Kosovo met on 13 August 2026 for the second round of bilateral consultations. Among other things, the officials agreed to advance negotiations for the swift conclusion of an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
