Barbados and Venezuela to Revise Tax Treaty

During an official visit of the acting president of Venezuela to Barbados from 26 to 27 April 2026, high-level bilateral talks were held to discuss various issues, including the revision of the 1998 income tax treaty between the two countries. Any resulting revisions, whether through an amending protocol or a new treaty, will need to be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
