During its meeting on 2 October 2026, the Belgian Council of Ministers approved a draft law for the ratification of the pending protocol to the 2014 income tax treaty with Norway. The protocol, signed 8 September 2021, is the first to amend the treaty. It will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
