On 24 November 2025, the Belgian government reached an agreement on a multi-year budget, including certain tax measures:
- An increase in the VAT rate for takeaway food, hotel stays, campsites, and sport and recreation (leisure) to 12%, including tickets for sports events and major music festivals;
- An increase in the VAT rate on pesticides to 21%;
- An increase in the securities account tax rate from 0.15% to 0.3%;
- An increase in the conditional dividend withholding tax for management companies …
