The Belgian government has issued a release announcing that Belgium's Federal Public Service (FPS) Finance was recently the target of a cyberattack, which was successfully stopped. As a precaution, MyMinfin and several other services were temporarily taken offline and must be restarted in an isolated environment, which will take time to avoid any risk. Considering this, the deadline for all tax returns due on or around 31 October 2026 has been postponed to 16 November 2026.
