Belgium has ratified the protocol to the income tax treaty with the Czech Republic. The protocol was originally signed March 15th 2010, and The Czech Republic ratified the protocol in February 2011.
The protocol amends the 1996 treaty between the two countries to bring the treaty in line with the OECD standards on information exchange, with some variations. The main differences include:
