The Bermuda government has released a detailed outline of its proposed 15% corporate income tax regime as part of a second public consultation that clarifies and significantly expands upon the framework released as part of the first public consultation.
The corporate income tax is expected to be enacted prior to 31 December 2023 and be effective for tax years beginning on or after 1 January 2025.
The second public consultation is open for comments until 30 October 2023.
