Brazil Chamber of Deputies Approves Pending SSA with Austria

On 4 September 2025, Brazil's Chamber of Deputies (lower house of the National Congress) approved the ratification of the pending social security agreement with Austria. The agreement, signed 17 May 2022, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force on the first day of the third month after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
