Brazil has published Provisional Measure No. 960 of 30 April 2020 in the Official Gazette. The Measures extends the suspension of taxes under the special drawback regime for exporters by one year. This includes a suspension of taxes normally levied on the import or purchase of goods locally, including import tax, excise tax (IPI) and social contributions (PIS/COFINS), provided that the goods are used in the manufacturer of products for export.
