Brazil has published Legislative Decree No. 226 of 4 November 2025, which provides for the ratification of the pending social security agreement with Austria. The agreement, signed 17 May 2022, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force on the first day of the third month after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
