Bulgaria is set to become the 21st country to join the eurozone, following the approval of the final legal acts during the EU Economic and Financial Affairs Council meeting on 8 July 2025. Bulgaria will adopt the euro on 1 January 2026 with a Bulgarian lev conversion rate of 1.95583 per euro.
