During their meeting on 22 October 2025, Burundi's Council of Ministers approved the draft law for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with Morocco. The treaty, signed 12 May 2025, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
