The Chilean tax authority (SII) has issued Circular No. 27 of 28 June 2019 concerning the reduction of the general withholding tax rate on interest under the tax treaties with China and Japan, as well as the MFN clauses with respect to interest and royalty income under Chile's tax treaties with Argentina, Australia, France, Sweden, and Uruguay.
