According to a release from India's Ministry of External Affairs, officials from Chile and India met on 10 November 2025 to discuss bilateral relations, with both sides agreeing to finalize several agreements, including a social security agreement. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
