On 12 September 2018, Chile's Senate approved the pending tax information exchange agreements with Bermuda and Jersey, which were approved by the Chamber of Deputies earlier in the year. Both agreements were signed by Chile on 24 June 2016 and by Bermuda and Jersey on 21 July 2016 and are the first of their kind between Chile and the respective jurisdictions.
